The World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) was established to protect athletes, promote the values of clean sport, and preserve the spirit of sport internationally. The Agency is composed and funded by the sports movement and governments of the world. WADA’s primary role is to develop, harmonise and coordinate anti-doping rules and policies across all sports and countries (1).
WADA's key activities include scientific research, education, development of anti-doping capacities, and monitoring of the World Anti-Doping Code, with a vision where all athletes can participate in a doping-free sporting environment (1).
